LTC Jason Moulton

LTC Jason Moulton is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at the United States Military Academy (USMA).
He graduated with a B.S. in computer engineering from Clarkson University 1999. Commissioned as an signal officer, he served as a platoon leader and battalion information officer in the 307th Signal Battalion, 1st Signal Brigade at Camp Carroll, Korea.
As a captain, he commanded C Company, 447th Signal Battalion prior to completing the Signal Captains Career Course. Following graduate school at the University of South Carolina, where he earned a Master of Engineering degree in computer science and engineering, he deployed with to Iraq as the senior signal advisor to the 11th Iraqi Army Division G6 and Signal Company.
As a major, he graduated from resident Command and General Staff College and returned to Fort Gordon where he served as the battalion executive officer for 551st Signal Battalion and the S3 operations officer for 15th Regimental Signal Brigade. Following deployment to Jordan and Kuwait with US Army Central he was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel.
After completing a Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina, LTC Moulton served as an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at West Point.
He has co-authored 8 scientific peer-reviewed papers and is a member of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
