Mr. Pratheek Manjunath is an assistant professor of electrical engineering and deputy director of the Robotics Research Center at the United States Military Academy. As one of the three founding members of the RRC in 2017, he helped establish and grow the Academy’s newest research center. He has conducted and managed robotics projects across the Department of Defense, academia, and industry, at Technology Readiness Levels 3 to 6.

Mr. Manjunath has received the Peter Zhu Scholastic Achievement Award for research contributions at the Academy. He was recognized by the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with the William Lane Award for teaching excellence in 2021 and the LTC Joseph Sullivan Award for teamwork in 2024. He has co-authored 20 peer-reviewed scientific papers and has been featured in Army press releases on autonomous systems. He is a member of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).

Mr. Manjunath is also an enthusiastic aviator and a strong advocate for STEM education.
