Biography
Jim and his wife have been honored to be a part of the West Point Community for a number of years. They have watched their sons grow up at West Point and have enjoyed being a part of this great institution.
Ongoing Research Projects
Registrar Services: Research interest revolves around cadet empowerment and academic advising, academic systems improvements and designing the registrar's office to meet the demands of the future academic program.
Geography: Human and political geography with an interest on the countries of the former Soviet Union. Research interest is on national security and resources, specifically in the Transcaucas Region. Interest in national identity: how nationalist landscapes shape the way regional association are developed and reworked. Applying key elements of research as they relate to Georgia, Chechnya and Transcaucas Region. How minority populations and minority religions influenced the actions of governments, etc. are powerful questions in researching this area.
