Biography


Lieutenant Colonel Brian Novoselich was commissioned as an Armor Officer from the U.S. Military Academy in 1996.  He has served in a variety of Armor units with leadership responsibilities up to the Brigade Executive Officer level.  LTC Novoselich has served in the department from 2006-2009 and again from 2016 to the present and has taught and directed courses in the Design, Thermal-Fluids, Dynamics, and Automotive threads.  He served as the Director of the Center for Innovation and Engineering (CIE) from 2017-2019.  He is currently the Thread Director for the Automotive and Weapons Thread and is simultaneously serving as the Director of Strategic Plans and Assessment (G5) for  USMA.  LTC Novoselich has served in a variety of operational and combat deployments to include Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan.  LTC Novoselich serves on the executive committee for the ASEE Mechanical Engineering Division and the ASEE LEAD Division Strategic Planning Committee.
