Biography


MAJ John Rollinson commissioned as a second lieutenant in 2005 upon graduation from the United States Military Academy with a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences and Computer Science.  He served as the Company Executive Officer for Alpha Company, 24th Military Intelligence (MI) Battalion, 66th MI Brigade in Germany.  He then served as a Watch Officer in the Combined Intelligence Fusion Center-Ankara in Turkey before returning to Germany to serve as the Assistant Operations Officer for the 24th MI Battalion.  In 2015, he deployed with the 10th Mountain Division to serve as the Deputy Director J9 for US Forces Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel.  Following the deployment, he was reassigned to Fort Meade where he served as a Computer Network Defense Manager in and Company Commander of Delta Company, 781st MI Battalion, 780th MI Brigade.  He is currently assigned as a Research Scientist in the Army Cyber Institute at West Point, New York.  MAJ Rollinson is a graduate of the MI Basic Officer Leader Course and the MI Captain's Career Course.
